As the General Manager of the Application Modernization and Connectivity Product Group, Chris is responsible for ensuring that Micro Focus can continue to win and support customers with great products, great customer service, and unrivaled technology innovation.

Chris has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry and has held a number of executive positions in software and technology companies including sales, marketing and consulting. He has extensive experience in software product strategy, sales management, product packaging, and demand generation strategies. This has typically been in acquisitive businesses with a focus on company integration, product management, customer and partner management, and organizational change.

Chris is based out of Micro Focus’ Newbury office and lives with his family near Edinburgh, Scotland.

Senior Scientist, Philips Research

M.Sc. degree in Informatics Engineering from the University of Bologna, Italy, in 2000 Ph.D degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands, in 2007.

In 2001 he joined Philips Research in The Netherlands, where he has been working on innovative Philips products and services in various domains, including video retrieval, recommender systems, applications of data analytics and machine learning.

He is currently Senior Scientist at Philips Research leading the research activities on big data analytics for smart maintenance of medical devices.

He has more than 30 publications in international conferences and scientific journals and he is a co-inventor of more than 20 US patents.

Jerry Saelemakers is Team Leader for the Micro Focus DevOps Presales unit in Northern Europe & South-Africa.
Building on over 19 years of extensive Software Quality knowledge, he delivers insights on solutions and services that meet or predict the future needs of organizations.
He started his career at Mercury Interactive in 1999, the market leader in testing software, and has worked in various supporting and consultative positions, supporting customers and teams by providing them optimal, world-class Application Delivery solutions.

Jerry Saelemakers holds a degree in Computer Sciences. In his personal life, he is passionate about new technologies, electronics, exotic holidays, and cooking.
He is Belgian and speaks fluent Dutch, English, French, and has notions of German.

As a former testing practitioner at various customers Arno is able to help customers with all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle ranging from Lifecycle management, Requirements to Functional, Performance and Security testing. As a presales consultant he helps customers on their digital transformation journey by removing testing constraints. As part of the Application Delivery Management portfolio within Micro Focus he supports the Enterprise DevOps pillar and embodies the problem solving attitude required within the DevOps movement.

With an analytical background and a love for challenging and complex situations he is able to make things simpler and more understandable while maintaining the big picture. Application Delivery Management International GTM Leader, Micro Focus

Carlos leads the business development, go to market and strategy for Application Delivery Management (ADM) product portfolios in Micro Focus within International region with focus on increasing market share and revenues on these solutions. Carlos builds the bridges to make possible an effective cooperation around ADM business where all stakeholders inside and outside Micro Focus (sales organization, product group, presales teams, alliances, channel, customers…) are involved to develop a healthier and consistent ADM business.
Carlos joins Micro Focus in 2014 as Director of Presales for Iberia and Hispanic Latam, covering all Micro Focus portfolios. After one year, he is promoted as EMEA Borland Presales Director to perform later as Business Development Director for DevOps. After the merge with the HP Software division Carlos joins the Business Development Management organization first as South BDM (Business Development Manager) and currently as INTL ADM Leader.
Prior to Micro Focus, Carlos was Business Unit Director for Ricoh Spain IT Services, with specialization in IT Governance, Security and Software Testing and embracing both Consultancy and Services. Formerly he worked as Key Account Manager, Project Manager and Developer.
Carlos holds an Executive MBA from IEDE (Universidad Europea de Madrid), Masters in Marketing and eCommerce from ESIC (Madrid) and is Computer Engineer from Málaga University.


Nils Petersen

Director EMEA Sales AMC, Micro Focus

Nils is Director of international sales for the Application Modernization and Connectivity group (AMC) at Micro Focus. In his current role, he is responsible for the overseeing all activities related to Devops on the mainframe, re-hosting of mainframes and other critical Micro Focus solutions deployed with customers. The success of Cobol applications and mainframe workload migrations projects which are successfully implemented He also works closely with Alliances and Cloud providers. With more than 30 years of experience in the IT and Software industry, and 7 of them with Micro Focus Nils has supported many customers in their successful Digital Transformation.

René is Director of Professional Services at Micro Focus. In his current role, he is responsible for the implementation of Micro Focus solutions at clients in 6 countries, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, South Africa and Sweden. In his region dozens of projects are successfully implemented each year with the help of a team of more than 110 consultants. Etienne Terpstra-Hollander

Etienne is employed within Micro Focus Professional Services as Lead Technologist for the NESA region (Nordics, Netherlands, South Africa)

He is involved in defining and realizing the Micro Focus strategy for his region. Next to his role in NESA he is advisor within the Micro Focus CTO office working on the worldwide product and GTM strategy. He is also steering committee member for the IT4IT Forum from The Open Group and actively driving development of the IT4IT Standard. He has over 20 years’ experience in IT Service Management.

Gopal Krishna Ramachandra

Gopal leads the go to market and strategy of IT Operations Management (ITOM) product portfolios in Micro Focus within EMEA region with focus on increasing market share on these solutions. With more than a decade of varied experience in addressing business challenges with technological solutions through effective channels, he has a strong professional bond with many customers and partners.
Prior to this role, Gopal was responsible for growing alliances business within MEMA {Middle East, Mediterranean and Africa} region and successfully grew that business by 40% in the span of 2 years. On solutions space he was pre-sales lead for Service Portfolio Management solutions for MEMA and CEE {Central and Eastern Europe} regions for two years when he started with HP Software in March 2008. From October 2006 to March 2008 he worked with CA Technologies as an Architect within Technology Services group where he was responsible for designing and architecting service management solutions in line with best practices framework of ITIL.
In addition, from 1998 till 2006 he took up versatile roles in Wipro, a leading IT Service Provider and system integrator. Gopal handled different positions from Service Management consultant to a project manager and eventually was leading service management team responsible for business on Service Management. In his stint with Wipro, he had active participation and significant contribution towards practice development and designing new initiatives for various route to markets.
Gopal holds an MBA from London Business School and Masters in Computer Applications from Bharatidasan University, India.

Danny Bolung has been working in the Security & Risk domain since 1997. He has helped to successfully implement many security & risk related issues at several end customers.
In 2012 his product owner role was mainly specific to the IAM domain. Danny has a lot of knowledge and experience with the implementation of various IGA Solutions. In 2018, he took on the role of product owner IAM at Kadaster and is partly responsible for the successful implementation of the Micro Focus IGA solution.
