Dr. Lars Rossen

Fellow, CTO Office – Micro Focus

Lars Rossen is a Micro Focus Fellow working as the chief cross-portfolio architect in the HPE Software CTO office. Lars created the first version of the IT4IT Reference Architecture when he worked in Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and this formed the basis for the standard in The Open Group, and Lars continues to be the lead architect for the IT4IT initiative. In Micro Focus this is the basis for blueprinting the development of the Hybrid IT management portfolio of products. Before his current role in the CTO office he was part of the core team that defined HPEs CloudSystem strategy and associated solution portfolio.

Prior to this Lars headed up HP’s Operational Support System practice for Europe, Middle East and Africa. He played an important role in linking the vision of eTOM, NGOSS, and ITIL into practical solutions through HP’s Integrated Service Management blueprint. That design served as the basis for how many cloud services are managed today.

Lars was a researcher at the University of Denmark in the area of formal methods for computing before becoming CTO at Netman, a telecoms ISV and Consultancy Company. HP acquired Netman in 2004 and structured it into an operation support systems expertise centre.

Lars holds an MS in engineering, an executive MBA with focus on technology management, and a PhD in computer science from the technical University of Denmark.


Tal Levi JosephTal Levi Joseph

Head of Product Management, Application Lifecycle Management Portfolio – Micro Focus

Tal leads the product management team for the Application Lifecycle Management portfolio within Micro Focus. With over a decade of experience running Quality Assurance, customer success and development teams, Tal melds her real-world experience and customer insights to drive a portfolio strategy that fuels greater intelligence and integration. Prior to this role, Tal was responsible for running the Application Delivery Management Research and Development organization. She holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel.


Erikjan FranssenErikjan Franssen

Sales Director for Europe Middle East and Africa for Micro Focus Vertica

Erikjan is the Sales Director for Europe Middle East and Africa for Micro Focus Vertica In his position he manages the Got-to-market across the region and is responsible for both revenue generation as well as customer success.
Erikjan has been with MicroFocus/ HPE for the past 9 years and is known for maintaining extensive customer relations and bringing creativity to the table in complex situations.

Over the past years Erikjan has been working in various roles in the ITOM/ADM and security business as well as leading as strategic account. Erikjan is known for transforming customer relationships in both IT organizations and the Lines of Business. His engagement with Vertica started in 2013 in the creation of a predictive asset maintenance use case for Philips.

Erikjan started his career at a start-up in the UK and has worked in various companies/disciplines in the IT- Industry. Erikjan holds a BA degree in International Marketing & Management.

Bruna Tosi

Technical Consultant, Application Delivery Management, Micro Focus

Bruna is an IT engineer and works as a technical specialist in application development. From planning to the delivery of the software, her role is to help her customers and users to understand how Micro Focus’ tools operate from a technical point of view. She is also very committed to help her customers understand the value of these tools on an organizational level.

Bruna is especially interested in optimizing resources and improving interactions between people and computers.


Carlos Gutiérrez

Application Delivery Management International GTM Leader, Micro Focus

Carlos leads the business development, go to market and strategy for Application Delivery Management (ADM) product portfolios in Micro Focus within International region with focus on increasing market share and revenues on these solutions. Carlos builds the bridges to make possible an effective cooperation around ADM business where all stakeholders inside and outside Micro Focus (sales organization, product group, presales teams, alliances, channel, customers…) are involved to develop a healthier and consistent ADM business.
Carlos joins Micro Focus in 2014 as Director of Presales for Iberia and Hispanic Latam, covering all Micro Focus portfolios. After one year, he is promoted as EMEA Borland Presales Director to perform later as Business Development Director for DevOps. After the merge with the HP Software division Carlos joins the Business Development Management organization first as South BDM (Business Development Manager) and currently as INTL ADM Leader.
Prior to Micro Focus, Carlos was Business Unit Director for Ricoh Spain IT Services, with specialization in IT Governance, Security and Software Testing and embracing both Consultancy and Services. Formerly he worked as Key Account Manager, Project Manager and Developer.
Carlos holds an Executive MBA from IEDE (Universidad Europea de Madrid), Masters in Marketing and eCommerce from ESIC (Madrid) and is Computer Engineer from Málaga University.

Mikael has more than 30 years of experience in various ITSM solutions and work with various ITIL processes. He has worked with many different customers within tools and process issues.


Martin Bosler

Chief Architect for Operations Bridge, Micro Focus

Martin, Distinguished Technologist at Micro Focus, is a member of the ITOM Technology and Strategy office. He is the lead architect for the Micro Focus Operations Bridge Suite which is part of the IT Operations Management (ITOM) software family. The Operations Bridge solution is one of the market leaders in monitoring services and applications hosted on top of hybrid IT infrastructure. It serves as well as an umbrella management solution on top of various monitoring tools.
Before having the role of the Operations Bridge architect, Martin hold several technical positions within Micro Focus, HPE and HP since he joined to work for HP OpenView software in 1998.
Martin holds a Master degree in computer science from the Eberhard-Karls-University Tuebingen.


Gopal Krishna Ramachandra

IT Operations Management EMEA Leader, Micro Focus

Gopal leads the go to market and strategy of IT Operations Management (ITOM) product portfolios in Micro Focus within EMEA region with focus on increasing market share on these solutions. With more than a decade of varied experience in addressing business challenges with technological solutions through effective channels, he has a strong professional bond with many customers and partners.
Prior to this role, Gopal was responsible for growing alliances business within MEMA {Middle East, Mediterranean and Africa} region and successfully grew that business by 40% in the span of 2 years. On solutions space he was pre-sales lead for Service Portfolio Management solutions for MEMA and CEE {Central and Eastern Europe} regions for two years when he started with HP Software in March 2008. From October 2006 to March 2008 he worked with CA Technologies as an Architect within Technology Services group where he was responsible for designing and architecting service management solutions in line with best practices framework of ITIL.
In addition, from 1998 till 2006 he took up versatile roles in Wipro, a leading IT Service Provider and system integrator. Gopal handled different positions from Service Management consultant to a project manager and eventually was leading service management team responsible for business on Service Management. In his stint with Wipro, he had active participation and significant contribution towards practice development and designing new initiatives for various route to markets.
Gopal holds an MBA from London Business School and Masters in Computer Applications from Bharatidasan University, India.


Sami Suro

Director Business Solutions, Tieto Finland

Sami has over 20 years of extensive experience in ICT business, with wide range of market and solution knowledge in the Nordics and Globally. He is currently working as a Business Solution Director of cloud based services in a banking and financial business. He helps to manage new and existing customers on their modernization journey with solutions and services that meet or predict their today’s and future needs.


Alex Ramirez

Security, Risk and Governance Strategist and Evangelist, Micro Focus

Alex Ramirez is the Security, Risk and Governance Strategist/Evangelist working on business development in Northern Europe and South Africa. He supports the local teams with creating marketing activities, speaking on events about the Micro Focus Security, Risk and Governance portfolio and qualifying customer needs.
Alex has longtime experience in all Micro Focus solutions (ADM, ITOM and Security) and can therefore also help with cross portfolio. He has a Security and Industry background along with strong business management skills and experience of working at both region and WW levels.


Jari Salokannel

Information Security Architect, CISSP, C|EH, Micro Focus Security, Risk, & Governance, Baltic and Nordic Countries

Jari is Information Security Architect within Micro Focus Security software group focusing on the customers in northern EMEA. In this role, he helps clients address compelling IT security challenges with Micro Focus portfolio of security products and services. His focus is on security technology strategy, innovation and the use of leading edge technologies and services to protect customers from adversaries.
Prior to joining Micro Focus, Jari worked at Hewlett Packard and Nortel/Avaya for almost 15 years in a variety of ICT sales related roles.
Jari began his career with computers late 1970’s as a hobby and had his first fulltime IT job over 35 years ago.


Thor Olav Sørnmo

Security, Risk & Governance Architect, Micro Focus

Thor Olav Sørnmo is a skilled software developer, project manger and solutions architect. He has a long relationship with larger international companies and is focusing on our security portfolio. He is a specialized DevOps architect, working with application and data security, enabling our customers to meet the challenges we see in the market today, e.g. GDPR, PCI DSS and others. He has been working for Micro Focus (including the HP/HPE part) for close to 5 years, and prior to that had multiple roles internationally. He is living and operating out of Oslo, and has a particular focus on the Nordic market.
